Gresham College was founded in 1597 and has been providing free lectures within the City of London for over 400 years.
The College's 130 annual lectures and events are free and open to all. Many of their lectures are useful for A-Levels, and also for career and study decisions, for personal statements, for ‘stretch and challenge’ and to those planning to do Extended Project Qualifications (EPQs). They are also one of the external organisations recommended by Oxford University for those applying to Oxford.
Students and parents can search access previous lectures by clicking here - subjects range from anti-biotic resistance to evolution; the art of rhetoric to architecture and cyborg piano to dark matter to name but a few.
