Would you be a good witness to a crime? Are people born aggressive or do they learn to be violent? What causes depression and anxiety? Psychology attempts to answer all of these questions and more. Human beings are strange and complex creatures; in this course, you will learn to study their behaviour scientifically.
From the structure of your brain and the impact of your genetics, to the influence of your family and the crowd, A Level Psychology investigates who and why you are you. Be ready to test, observe, record, compare, ask, and argue big questions. In this course, you will learn to think critically, write precisely, and apply a scientific approach to interpret behaviours you previously thought were common sense.
An added benefit of studying psychology is that it gives you a skill set well sought after by universities and prospective employers.
Welcome to the wonderful and weird world of you.
