Over a two day visit, 28 of our students from Years 8, 9 and 10 attended the Liverpool City Region 'Experience of the Workplace' event.

During the event students attended a lecture on the wide range of apprenticeship opportunities that are available within the region, and took part in workshops operated by a number of firms who are recruiting locally.

Workshops were delivered by organisations like Speke based pharmaceutical company CSL Seqirus, Peel Ports who operate across the waterfront and Knowsley Safari Park.

The students returned to school with a much better knowledge of the diverse range of employment opportunities available locally.
