Congratulations to Ava in Year 8 who ran the Liverpool Half Marathon on Sunday.

She managed the 13 mile run in one hour and ten minutes, which was close to her personal best at this distance.

Despite her young age, this was Avas's tenth half marathon. She has been part of the world of athletics since the age of 2, and currently trains with the Liverpool Harriers at Wavertree.

We wish her luck in her next race on Sunday in Portsmouth!
