The Governors of St Julie’s Catholic High School, Liverpool are seeking to appoint an inspirational, ambitious and innovative Deputy Head Teacher. St Julie’s is a popular and oversubscribed school for girls situated in the conservation area of Woolton Village, South Liverpool. Our Catholic Notre Dame ethos is central to all we do. Our new Deputy Head Teacher will work with governors and staff to shape the strategic direction of the school in continuing its positive journey and lead a team which strives together in the best interests of all pupils in line with our Notre Dame values of faith, truth, joy, love, justice and hope following the principles laid down by our founder St Julie Billiart.
In May 2023 an OFSTED inspection concluded that St. Julie’s continues to be a good school with outstanding judgements in personal development, leadership and management. During February 2024 we achieved an outstanding judgement for Catholic Life & Mission following a successful Catholic Schools Inspection.
As a Catholic School, we will appoint an experienced leader who will champion our moral purpose of ensuring all our young people receive the best education possible, within a supportive, caring, close-knit and ambitious school community.
