Congratulations to Freya in Year 10 who took gold this weekend at her first competition at junior (15-17) level!
Freya has been attending national squad training on a regular basis and is really enjoying the additional work.
Her preparation paid off as she competed for the first time at junior level in the 'Ultimate Spring Championship' - a silver level British Taekwondo event held at Barnsley Metrodome in Yorkshire.
Freya found the higher age group a new challenge battled through a very tough semi-final and final to leave the competition with a gold medal. Congratulations Freya!
