We've had great fun in the sun today enjoying Sports Day at Wavertree Atheletics Ground.

Although the weather looked doubtful as we started our day with an energetic dance performance, the sun broke through later for a very sunny lunch time!

Following our dance performance we had the traditional opening parade of flags before the events began in earnest. With a great mix of traditional track and field events alongside the less orthodox obstacle courses, hula hooping and welly wanging, a good time was guaranteed for all.

Off the track we enjoyed a fundraising cake stall and nail bar, and commentary from our new control team of Miss Sarson and Mr Anderson.

Well done to all of our winners on the day, and thanks to everybody for taking part.
